I have a dilemma. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a difficult time drinking water. I was nearly hospitalized last year for dehydration. I swear I'm allergic. Every time I drink water I become really nauseated. It is easier to drink crystal light or gatorade. Any tips, tricks, horror stories? Anyone relate? My kidneys are going to fail... I can't survive on Diet Coke. Something needs to change!

The ONLY way I like my water is loaded up with Crystal Light... I feel ya when you say you HATE drinking H2O. Bleh. However, I did find that cucumber water (weird, I know)is very refreshing. I had it at a wedding this summer and loved it. Supposedly it's an old English tradition... maybe it'll help you too :)

I hate water too.
But the more you drink, the more you will start to crave it. Eventually you start to like it.

But if you get out of the habit, you will start hating it again.

I like to add lime wedges.

I agree with Lauren, the more you drink it the more you will crave it. I like to put lemons in my water and it has to be SUPER cold, not room temp. Good luck!

I thought I was the only one. Water really does make me nauseous and sometimes will make me gag while I'm drining it. My favorite 2 ways to drink it are with sliced cucumbers and resh mint leaves (it's the best, and is super refreshing) or I put fresh berries (raspberries are my fave) into ice trays and use those in my water so when my ice gets melty I'm left with a faint flavor in my water, but none of the mushy berry mess you'd have if you just put them straight in the water. Wow that was a novel. But good luck to you!

I am the EXACT same way.. I drink the equivalent of one water bottle every 6 months! Sooo bad! The only thing that has helped me is putting cucumber in the water. Let it sit for a little bit and it's better than anything else I've ever tried.
