print via {design is mine}Tonight we saw Sufjan Stevens. He played his new EP in it's entirety. The show was at the Mesa Arts Center which is a wonderful venue! I'd recommend attending a show there if you haven't.
The show consisted of two hours of sensory overload in the BEST way possible. There was a 3D light show, 11 musicians, (two of which are also his back-up dancers). This EP and the entire show was inspired by a skitzofrenic artist who past away from a heart attack over 10 years ago...
His art and influence was evident in every aspect of the show.
Sufjan is a genious.
His motto as a child was "be here now"
