Last night my friend Spencer and I saw the film Somewhere. It was slow and dull but Elle Fanning was enchanting. And I was impressed with the score which was done by Phoenix. The soundtrack is worth a listen.

this makes sense. she directed marie antoinette, which is one of the most stunning films i've ever seen visually, but the plot is the slowest most meaningless nothing i've ever had the misfortune of watching. i think some directors get caught up in the pretty pictures they're creating and forget people came to see a movie with good plot.
ps- those fanning girls...i try so hard to not compare myself to their ever increasing awesomeness...and at such a young age!
