sometimes when you date a person you have different preferences. Where I prefer mellow, indie type music... Aaron prefers reggae. So last night he took me to Matisyahu. It is a raggae/hip hop group. The lead singer has a bad past of drugs and such and found Hasidic Judeism and cleaned up his life. Now he is completely clean and is one AMAZING musician! His songs have some yiddish in them. He raps. He can even beat box while carrying a tune. AT THE SAME TIME. I don't understand how it's possible but it is. It was hilarious to see the crowd, a poly-blend of faithful Hasidic Jews and ASU frat boys smoking weed. It was about 50/50.
